We were looked after well. Help with our luggage was exceptional and 'mine host' even helped me load the car when we left.

The room selection suggests a mountain and/or garden view from each room. The room had a very small window facing the street, and the only view was the building on the other side of the street. The bathroom is split, and you walk through the entrance of the room which can't be locked.

Warm and welcoming, Nothing was too much trouble at all.

As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable at this friendly local Welsh pub/hotel. The breakfasts and evening meals were exceptional. The location was central for various attractions.

People were lovely and tried hard to accommodate us. Rooms were clean and tidy with tea/ coffee etc. bathroom was clean and it had a good shower

It was not as I expected but worked out really well

Situated in the village, great location. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a big en suite in an adjoining room. Steve, the landlord, made me feel welcome and offered a 'pack up' breakfast as I had an early start on Sunday morning.

This is not a flashy boutique hotel but a good honest pub venue in a great location. I hope to return next year.
