beautifully designed hotel and pub, gorgeous village setting, super friendly and helpful staff. food options and portion sizes were fab and such good value for money, we had the £10 ciabatta and fries. We were also super happy to come home to the picnic hamper which was such a lovely touch.

more vegetarian choices on the menu would have been good i.e veggie burger. bins were outside the door to enter the hotel rooms which were pretty pungent, would be better to have them covered to contain the smell and unsightly looking bins.

Good location, breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. Main course on the menu (Lamb Rump & Fish and chips) was very nice. My partners chocolate brownie cake was slightly burnt, but my sticky toffee pudding was nice.

No TV in the room. No bin in the bathroom. Shower has awful pressure and kept turning off and was incredibly slippery. Beds were super springy with rock hard pillows.

Clean and nice location

Given it’s a gastropub real org they didn’t do a Cooked breakfast but instead provided a very limited breakfast basket. No TV in room, shower was not great (kept cutting out) - door handle to shower room didn’t work, room was too hot making sleep difficult.

Staff were exceptional, comfy beds and good facilities.

Lovely location and property. Nice welcoming staff and very helpful. Cleanliness was very good and everything was there ready for use. Food was amazing and reasonably priced for the amount you get. Very happy with my stay, would recommend and will use again if needed.
