Hotel Sfazù

Great clean place qith superb positive energy. I love how the room was prepared and cleaned for us, it’s literally « your grandma’s home » clean! Thanks a lot

Amazing location on the Bernina pass with fantastic Mountain and valley views. It is very conveniently located, right beside the bus stop. This is a small and cosy hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. They offer excellent value for the price. The owner / manager Nina is a super helpful, kind and friendly lady who makes you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The place is so clean, the view is magnificent, the owner is so kind. The food is all fantastic and delicious, especially the hot chocolate. Best hot chocolate we’ve ever tried!

Perhaps the strongest positive for this hotel/restaurant is the staff, they were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Always smiling and attentive.

As far as hotels go the accommodation at this one is as basic as it gets. I would suggest that this is en par with a hostel! The rooms are spacious, very clean with a basic wardrobe and 2 single beds. The bed linen and towels had a strange and unpleasant smell. The bathroom had “sachets” of shower gel, one glass and two towels each. A hair dryer is available but that was located in the foyer, I guess for shared use? The room certainly didn’t have one It is located directly next to the main road which is steep and until about 9-10pm it is very busy with traffic going both ways. You can expect a lot of traffic noise to wake you up from around 6.30am. On the plus side the views are very picturesque and parking is directly at the side of the hotel. Strangely the walls appear to be paper thin. We had a room upstairs and we could hear every word said by the two ladies staying in the adjacent room. In fact in the evening I had to go and tell them to speak a little less loud to save their embarrassment at breakfast. We could even see their room light shining into our room through the large split in the roof beam. The restaurant at the hotel offers quick and basic food from a limited menu but it was OK. A point to note is that food and drinks stop being served at 8pm. Breakfast was again basic with only cake or bread (not toast) with preserves or ham. Two choices of serial, orange juice, coffee / tea and yoghurt. That’s it!!!
