Hotel Restaurant Sokrates

C’est un établissement de santé qui met à disposition des chambres rien de charmant mais certainement très fonctionnel pour un usage médical . Il est préférable de parler allemand si vous voulez vous faire comprendre. Petit déjeuner très classique.

obsługa w restauracji nie za bardzo miła, kuchnia też kiepska, raz zamówiliśmy kolację i potem już stołowaliśmy się w pobliskiej restauracji, która ma dużo lepszą jakość. Dziwne jest też limitowanie Wifi, po 22 nie ma internetu, polecam zabrać kabel, wpiąć się do sieci i zrobić sobie własny hotspot w pokoju. Suszarka do włosów też działała kilka sekund potem przestaje działać na minutę.

It is a lovely hotel in an idyllic location, on the Bodensee. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed the balcony with the view onto the lake. I particularly loved the (partially covered) roof terrace with the beach chairs; a beautiful spot to relax, even when the weather is not great. The restaurant has a small a la carte selection, which suited my needs for the occasional times I ate at the hotel.

The hotel values quiet behaviour after 10pm, which was great. In the mornings, however, early risers could be clearly heard walking (high heels? heavy tread?) down the hallway or knocking at neighbouring rooms. Sleeping in may be more difficult.
