Warm friendly place,nice room,great staff, wonderful breakfast. helpful staff, very good restaurant. We would definitely stay there again.

Like many older establishments,you have to watch your step...little ups and downs one could trip on. Also hower us inside a deep tub which isn't for everyone. website makes very clear there is no elevator to floors 2 and 3

Loved that you could open the windows to allow fresh air. The screen on the window was great as was the outside roller shutter. Bathroom very small but adequate. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety and options.

My poor old knees suffered on the 3 flights of stairs, but in a building as old and beautiful as this, there seems little possibility of installing a lift.

The staff were absolutely lovely and made the whole stay brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was also really good, excellent food/menu and good service. Rooms were very nice and value for money. Distance to downtown wasn’t too far. I’ll definitely be back again.

Such a lovely hotel and the location was great . The breakfast was amazing !!!
