Hotel Rio Piedras

I was told that day before that the breakfast was served at seven in the morning and the next day I was there is seven for my breakfast and the lady in the counter said breakfast is serve at 7:30.

I wanted a room right in the middle of the center of town and I got it. I also wanted a place that wasn’t very expensive and very low key and I got that as well. However I didn’t realize it was a 3 star hotel and I guess I got what I paid for. At first I was put in a room with a balcony looking out to the main square. Sounds lovely but it was packed with people (because of Semana de Santa - Easter) and extremely loud in the room. So I asked to be moved to another room which the staff did with no problems. They were very nice which was the best part of the hotel. The room felt like a prison cell. White walls, no pictures and no windows at all. Luckily I had a fan because it was rather warm in there. It was clean but that’s the best I can say. The free breakfast was lacking as well. I only ate it once. One egg, one piece of slightly toasted bread and some fruit that may have been canned. Also there was no water for a shower on the day I was to leave but I think the whole town was like that so I cant blame the hotel. I dislike making negative comments like this because the people who work there are just wonderful . Really nice and really helpful. I’d suggest staying elsewhere off the main square and go to Jerico at another time not during a holiday because you’ll be joined by 100’s of others!

The rooms were lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Right in the centre.

Noisy from early morning due to location on corner of the main plaza. The breakfast was tasty but limited choice which never changed, only one cup of coffee then charged extra.

Hotel is along a busy street. No AC so you will be awaken around 5 to 6 am w vehicles and the church bells. If you want to sleep in... find another hotel that's not on a main street.

Great location right on the square, large clean room with amazing view of the mountains and countryside! The breakfast was free, simple. The hotel was great at helping me arrange a coffee tour.

Noise from the bar on the corner was loud but it was New Years holiday so anyplace was loud!

The place was clean and centrally located. The staff was helpful and friendly. I will for sure stay here again when I visit Jerico.

El hotel perfecto, súper bien ubicado y bueno. El personal muy amable, sin embargo creo que les falta tener más información de los tours que tienen, de taxis, etc, ser un poco más proactivos y resolutivos.
