"SIMPLY WONDERFUL"

A splendid property, a journey into the elegance and refinement of another era. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and functional. The hostess is delightful, generous with advice and stories about the history of the city and her family, who have owned the house for 200 years. The house is located in the heart of Mopox, just steps from the riverbank and the main square.

Practically nothing. It's a place I definitely recommend.

"Hotel colonial muy bonito justo en el centro de Mompox"

El hotel es una casa colonial muy bonita y muy bien conservada en todo el centro de Mompox. La decoración de la casa es espectacular, el cuarto era muy cómodo, limpio y amplio. Muy buen desayuno y el personal del hotel era muy amable. El wifi funcionaba muy bien. La ubicación es excelente, en todo el centro colonial a pocos metros del malecón. Definitamente volveremos a Casa Sinning.

Durante nuestra estadía la motobomba de agua presentaba algunas fallas y se apagaba disminuyendo la presión del agua de la ducha. Pero le avisábamos al personal y la prendían de nuevo, la iban a hacer revisar en los días siguientes.

"Historisches Haus mit engagiertem Personal"

Das Hotel ist ideal zwischen Innenstadt und dem Rio gelegen, es ist im Innenhof sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und schloss lokale traditionelle Gerichte mit ein. Die Chefin hat sich persönlich um unsere Tourenplanung gekümmert und uns eine sehr nette Frau vermittelt, die mit uns die Touren auf Englisch durchführen konnte. Das Personal war durchgängig sehr nett und zuvorkommend, sie haben uns sogar für einen kleinen Obulus die Wäsche gewaschen.

Der Pool taugt nicht wirklich zum Schwimmern, dafür ist er zu klein, maximal kann man mal untertauchen. Warmes Wasser gibt es nicht, wobei das kalte in dieser Region ja auch nicht wirklich kalt ist - muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Über einen Liegestuhl hätten wir uns gefreut, es gibt aber viele Möglichkeiten, sich außerhalb des Zimmers im Innenhof aufzuhalten.
