Hotel CHAFO

Lovely friendly family. The AC was cold and a huge relief in the jungle heat. Super clean.

Location was a little further out, but not too far away.

The room was clean and tidy. There was air conditioner and the WiFi worked well. The owner was kind and she even helped to call a taxi.

The door is open at night, so you can come back any time. Calmer part of the city, in the end of the street.

I didn’t understand the style of room cleaning. Three days in a row someone changes my towel, and then three days nothing. And I wish to know beforehand that someone will enter my space, not be surprised by that. My main concern is humidity. I stayed for a week and half of my stored things got severe mold on them. Room has to be at least sometimes dehumidified. I had to throw away backpack because I didn’t notice earlier that there is mold there. The fact that I don’t pay extra for AC still doesn’t mean that room should be at that level of humidity, where I’m afraid breathing spores.

Great option if you want to be able to sleep properly! Rooms have good and reliable AC. Bathrooms are also clean and well maintained, and the owners will welcome you with a nice smile. Probably hard to beat in terms of cost vs. quality/comfort in Leticia. You also get towel, soap, water and ok Wifi. I would definitely come back!

Not much to say. Location is a 5-10 min walk from downtown, which is very doable: safety is pretty good in Leticia. No window in the room though.

It was great for a night stay. Having an ac in the room helped a lot. good value for ac room ✌️

The plastic cover on the mattress under the sheets was a bit annoying but i guess they were new :)

Air conditioning is a big plus. If you don’t like it there’s also a very new fan on the wall. Toilet is spacious and clean! Mattresses super comfy. Very quiet place due to its location. Don Javier is a very friendly and welcoming person!
