Hotel Suma Wasi

We arrived here for another night after staying in a typical jungle house for 5 days, and it felt like pure luxury. As far as I know, this is one of few places on Mocoa offering hot water showers. The food was good as always. I highly recommend the pasta Camarones and the chicken salad if you’re looking for something very healthy. The lemonade is fantastic too. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. I really like this hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mocoa but here. I love the water fountain in the lobby where you can always get hot or cold drinking water. The hotel is in the city, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy quiet days and peaceful nights. All the rooms have aircon and a decent sized window that can open.

This time we had room 304 and the toilet seat was too small for the toilet which felt a bit uncomfortable. The shower door awkwardly opens to the inside, so you have to maneuver your way in and out in a strange way. If the shower is on whilst you open the door, you have a wet floor. The service in the restaurant is very slow. They take a while to come and take your order and then a while longer to get the food out. Sometimes you even wait 20 mins for drinks. And the staff sit around the eating area on their phones all the time.

La atencíón del personal, siempre atentos. Me encantó. El restaurante, sus platos son espectaculares, prueben el TACACHO.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We had 3 beds although we only really needed 2. Our room was cleaned for every morning of our stay. The shower pressure isn’t the best, but there was ample hot water which is a major plus in Mocoa. The food in the restaurant was very good. The pool was a nice addition. The location is perfect. It’s far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful, yet you can take a taxi to the market in under 10 minutes.

We had breakfast included, but the eggs were very oily and soggy so we just ordered soup from the menu.

La atención del personal para atender los requerimientos fue excelente. Y la decoración del lugar es muy agradable.

Que no hay toalla para piscina. También me hubiese gustado un tendedero fuera del baño para el vestido de baño.
