Natural Luxury Birding Lodge

The grounds of the property are absolutely lovely. There is a nice pool area to relax. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. I had a massage at the hotel which was amazing.

The hotel is very close to a busy road so you can hear the traffic. There is also a working farm nearby and unfortunately they played a lot of loud music late into the night while I was there making it difficult to sleep. Noise travels easily between the rooms so I could hear the guests in the next room. I did ask to change rooms but I was told the noise would be the same in all the rooms. The website says there are tvs in the room but there wasn’t one in mine. That didn’t bother me particularly but the wifi is not strong enough which was frustrating as I did have some work to do when I was there.

Very comfortable bed, beautiful and clean room. Delicious and well served food from the restaurant, and fresh fruit offered by the staff. There are a lot of different species of trees and birds, so it is a nice nature experience. Overall it offers a relaxing experience. The pool is also great. Nice view to the mountains. Excellent attention from the staff, they are always trying to bring you the best experience possible to make it feel like home.

The restaurant could offer more options, mainly vegetarian or more fish based meals. It would be good to have the cocktails mentioned on the menu available and some deserts as well. The room do not have curtains, which wasn’t a big problem but can disturb easy sleepers.
