The pros. The place is clean, big, great view of the water from the balcony. It could have been perfect.

The cons. From the time we arrived to the day before we left, there was a loud whistling noise that went off in the master bathroom every 30 seconds or so. All day all night. I think it had something to do with the plumbing. It was so loud that we could not sleep in the master bed, and had to go to the other bedroom with small uncomfortable twin beds. Even from that room we could hear the noise all night long (with all the doors closed) Chats with Vacasa support every day were very nice and they kept saying they would do something, but I'm pretty sure no one ever came by to fix it. We stopped using that bathroom and by the last day the noise had stopped.  So what would have been perfect was pretty unpleasant. People more sensitive to sound would have run out screaming. It's a shame because everything else was so nice. I'm a little disappointed that Vacasa didn't even offer a partial refund. So if you're thinking of staying here just know that you'll be taking a chance

Great location, great balcony, fantastic sunsets. Lots of space

The apartment is very comfortable & spacious, 2 fabulous ensuite bathrooms, and balcony for watching the surfers and sunsets. The onsite pool is a fair size with plenty of seating and security guard to let you back in from the beach. One bedroom has an enormous comfortable bed. Great to have washing machine and dryer. Jaco is great for surfers but not swimming, the town is lively not full on party, that sid we visited in July, definitely not favourite place in CR, but the apartment allowed us to chill in comfort for a few days. ,

We got into the apartment as the cleaners were leaving so they let us in. The management company provided incorrect entry information which meant we spent a long time trying to find the lockbox or work out the e-lock. They did not respond to my messages or answer the phone. We only got the correct code via the security guard calling them the following morning. Caused unnecessary stress. The twin beds are fairly poor

Steps away from the public beach, close to supermarkets, souvenir shops and restaurants. The complex has a 24-hour guard to keep patrons safe. The unit is very clean, furnitures and amenities are in good condition and updated. The view of the Pacific Ocean from the balcony is my fave spot to drink coffee in the morning whilst watching surfers ride the waves. Owner provided boogie boards and my kids enjoyed using them.

The public beach needs a little cleaning, not property’s fault. The currents are high so it’s good for surfing not swimming, again not property’s fault.

The view from the balcony, location on the beach and proximity to town. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The suite is large and allowed us to comfortably spread out. Clean.

The twin beds were uncomfortable. Time to change the mattress. Provide more knives. We had one which was dull

The beachfront location was convenient and the view was spectcular

The shower controls were a little counter-intuitive. The kitchen knives were dull. Perhaps include a small first aid kit in the house.

Beautiful spacious apartment in an amazing setting right on the beach front. I arranged all the bookings for our tour of Costa Rica and this was the only time when we entered the apartment the other three people all said ‘Wow - this is amazing’. Everything about the apartment was high quality - bedding, towels, furniture, bathrooms, equipment provided.
