The cabins are near the National Park and have free parking. The staff were very nice

There wasn't hot water and when I complained the staff told me that hot water is nit listed as one of the things they provide. A very bad answer as when you state there is a shwoer and you do not specify it only has cold water in it, it is misleading. This is the second tine it happens to us through boiking: they accept only cash which is not specified any where

Great proximity to Marino Ballena. The host arranged for a great boat tour. Be advised that the host does not speak english. Not an issue for us but not everyone speaks spanish.

Lots of rules, don't eat in room, don't wash in room, etc.

The best hosts in Costa Rica that you can wish for. They have the great tips on what to do and are really fun people! The room was superclean, and after we saw how thorough they clean rooms we understand why (they even put the beds upside down while cleaning!). It's 2 minutes walk from the beach. We found the beds very comfy, together with the airco a good rest.

Nothing actually. Maybe the young dog that barked a lot. But we really just had a very nice time.

The owner took only cash and did not give any confirmation. Also they did not have any change to give back so make sure you have exact amount. Also it was hard to communicate with them.

Amazing location, 100m away from the national park.

This property is an absolute gem! Given the low price compared to many places we had stayed, we were not sure what standard to expect. It was very clean, comfortable, had air con, hot water, spacious bathroom, shelves with hangers, an outside patio seating area, and car park space. The owners were expecting us on arrival, promptly came to welcome us, and despite neither of us speaking each other’s language much we were made to feel very welcomed. The location is superb - there is a fantastic falafel restaurant next door, 10-15 minutes walk to main town, 5 minutes walk to entrance to Marino Bellena National Park. Outstanding value for money.

If you haven’t read the previous reviews or are arriving in the dark, you might struggle to find the property. Think the sign on the main road said ‘Uvita lodge’ but it’s the same place. Follow an alley way to right of the falafel restaurant and you’ll get to the car park/entrance.
