Hotel Pura Vida

Everything was amazing. We especially loved the location. You can easily rent scooters in town, and there are many beautiful beaches around Puerto Viejo to explore. The surroundings are stunning and perfect for relaxing and discovering the area.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

A really lovely place to stay. Away from the main roads so quiet at night. The staff were all so warm and welcoming, they helped us with booking tours and recommending restaurants (which were excellent). The hotel itself is well-maintained with a relaxed vibe, wildlife flitting around the grounds, and several friendly cats. The room was very clean and spacious, the shower was powerful with hot water (if required). The bedframes were quite creaky and there is no glass in the windows (but covered by mesh and curtains to keep mozzies out), but I can wholly recommend staying here.

This hotel is set a bit away from the main road but totally walkable to everything. The rooms are decorated so lovely, you feel calm as you walk in the door. The lobby is just as serene with local plants growing throughout, and hummingbirds flying through. Cats on premise visit you if you like 🙂 Besides the beauty, you will find the women who attend to the front desk are so welcoming and incredibly helpful. Anything you need, they will help you. They will arrange things for you and advise on where to visit. Can’t say enough about this hotel!!

Sehr saubere Unterkunft, entspannte Atmosphäre mit sehr lieben Katzen, super Lage, sehr freundliches Personal - alles total unkompliziert (sogar unser Trip nach Bocas del Toro wurde kurzfristig von der Unterkunft aus organisiert und wir konnten Gepäck und unser Mietauto vor Ort lassen)
