La Anita Rain Forest

The hosts, Ana and Pablo, were SO kind and involved in making your stay wonderful. Absolutely need to do the chocolate tour-they make an exceptional product and teach you so much. The property is stunning....pics don't begin to show you how beautiful it truly is.

Everything was exceptional. Make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle to get to the property...this is standard in many parts of Costa Rica.

We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The best was the caring hospitality of the owner Pablo and Ana. We learnt a lot about the farm, chocolate and the living conditions of the people around. The staff were always helpful and very friendly. We simply felt at home!

This is a very special place. We were welcomed by two cute adorable dogs. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The peaceful little cabins are surrounded with tropical plants and lovely gardens giving you total privacy. There is no need to close the curtains as you are one with nature. Spending time on the balcony with the artisan rocking chairs and hammock is so calming and relaxing. Lots of nice trails to walk. The meals were special and we chatted with many people at breakfasts and dinners. We now have a couple that we hope to keep in contact with and perhaps meet up with again. The highlight of our stay was the chocolate tour with Pablo who knows all there is to know about chocolate. He travels world wide to taste chocolate. Pablo spends quality time with all of his guests as this farm is clearly his passion. You can feel the love and passion he pours into this place.

It was a very unique experience staying on a cacao farm. The environment was beautiful. Lots of birdlife all around. The hosts and staff were very welcoming and gracious. The chocolate tour by Pablo is a must. It was very informative and a lot of fun. Our bungalow was very clean, with beautiful woodwork and a spacious deck with rocking chairs and hammock.

Family run business. Rustic location surrounded by farms and rainforest. Quiet. Wonderful owners and staff. Good food. Good range of activities on site or nearby.

Most everything was very good. Could have had better pillows.

The property was beautiful. Very remote and peaceful. Great for bird watching.

This place is like heaven! The staff and owner Pablo go beyond to insure your comfort! Fabulous trails winding through the property! Food is great! Service Service Service ! Can not be said enough! Loved my stay!
