Residencial Victoria Said

The breakfast was very good for the location. It's canteen-style - you come up with a tray, and are given an egg and some bread. The lady who makes the breakfast was very sweet and helped us understand what we should have. The parking lot is also very secure. This is more of a "working" hotel - what I mean by that is a lot of people there were there for jobs and took off early the next morning, around 5 AM. The price is very good for Chile and if you come here, know it is a budget location.

This is a rough area - I didn't realise that when I booked. Stray dogs howl throughout the night and our room was not very sound-proof - with the long hallways, you can hear people coming and going. There was mould in the bathroom as well. Our room had not been cleaned when we arrived and we found hairs in our sheets.

The location is a few minutes walk from the nice centre of town.

First they gave us a room without any windows and some dim light coming from above. We did not accept this room and after some discussion they gave us a room in a newly built part of the hotel. Breakfast was somewhat simple.

She tried to charge an extra fee by adding booking.com’s fee which was such a scam… she was then very rude to us about it
