Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Dort wird auch Frühstück angeboten. Biolumiscence Tour mit dem Boot war sehr nett. Man muss nur selber zur Bootsanlegestelle kommen- ohne Auto evt. Mühsam

Zimmer sind sehr einfach und dunkel. Leider gibt es nicht genug Möglichkeiten zu sitzen und selbstgekochtes Essen zu verspeisen oder zu spielen. Der Bereich der möglich wäre- ist für Essensgäste.

Beautiful hidden gem in the nature. Surrounded by many animals. Host was very helpful and friendly

It’s too hot in the rooms. Only one small fan (air con costs extra). A lot of insects in the rooms. Location was not easy to find because there were no signs or something like that on the main road

Beautiful property and the kindest hosts! It's a family run bnb and they welcome their guests with care. They were very flexible, they provided delicious food at their restaurant and local recommendations for activities in the area. The room was as expected and very clean. We highly recommend going to Curú Wilfdlife Refuge during your stay, we enjoyed the beach and saw wildlife up close along the jungle trails and in the mangroves!

Our room was comfortable and clean, unfortunately no AC (which we knew beforehand) but a fan. The nights get cooler anyway, so no need for an AC. The Hotel was very lovely, on our first day we saw 2 monkeys directly from the common area. Breakfast and dinner were really good while still really cheap. We enjoyed every of our meals there. If you don't have a car it might be tricky to get around and to reach meeting points of tours. Luckily our host and her family were really welcoming and offered us multiple rides ! We did both tours offered by the hotel. I wouldn't particularly recommend the tour to Isla Tortuga. It was really nice, but we didn't get to see that much. However if you stay at El Gecko, definitely go for the Kyak Bioluminescence Tour. It felt magical.

We only stayed for one night. Shared bathroom space is very clean, and it was honestly one of the best showers we have had. We were not sure how to operate the shower and could not figure out how to turn on the hot water but nonetheless it was a pleasant shower.

There was no air conditioning in the room, so it took a while for us to fall asleep. We were glad there was at least one fan in the room which kept us cool. Over all it would have been better if there was AC.
