Koora Monteverde a Cloud Forest Hotel by Sandglass

We loved being in the rainforest with birds and animals within view.

The location and the views are awesome. We had a nice room with a plunge pool. Sometimes we saw coatis and agutis from.our terrace. Really cute. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff is very friendly. Complimentary coffee, beer, juice and banana chips in the room.

The location was amazing, facilities were perfect as we had a plunge pool in our room. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The grounds were so beautiful and there was so much wildlife too.

Nothing.

The entrance to the hotel was somewhat unappealing because strong winds were blowing dust around, as the area outside the entrance was not paved. In addition, the water stopped suddenly while I was taking a shower and only resumed after a few minutes. This made for a somewhat frustrating experience.

Absolutely everything. This was the best lodge we have stayed at … by far!! If you’re wondering about whether to spend a little extra , go for hit, it’s just wonderful. The hotel, staff, service, all sublime!!

Great location with beautiful view and plenty of wildlife, close to all attractions in area Wonderful room (suite), great design, and details (eg french press coffee maker with great regional coffee) Restaurant excellent quality of food Very courteous staff that made us feel at home (and we are spoiled!)
