The man who was waiting for me at the front desk had no idea that I was coming that day. He tried to charge me for $108 in Colons, and we had a loud argument about it. My booking said $53, and ended up paying 34,000 Colons, which is around $65. The receptionist was rude and angry with me the whole time, without any (0) english knowledge. The room was full bugs, had no soap or anything like that, and I only had cold water. For $65 a night. Outrageous.

Shower was huge. The Sloth Sanctuary close by. Breakfast good.

There interpretation of garden view is a car park. It is a Motel rather than Hotel, next to a major trunk road. A bit of a walk from town, but our issue.

We were delighted by the place. Close to the highway, so easy to get to when you need a stop, but still very quiet. We got a nice rest and a delicious typical costarican breakfast. Totally recommend.

You have to pay at the property and they don’t tell you that when booking. Not listed up front, only on the confirmation email AFTER. I wouldn’t recommend for a solo traveler, I left.

You have to pay at the property and they don’t tell you that when booking. I asked the front desk to just refund me and cancel and they wouldn’t do so. They said they would put it in as a “no show” while I was literally standing at their FRONT DESK. Bad location, especially at night, not good for a solo traveler. I left immediately after calling the booking.com customer service line.

A great view on the mountains with the volcano. Tasty breakfast with fruit, orange juice, rice, eggs, toasts, coffee. An interesting layout of the room - a spacious part with a shower as a part of the room. A parking lot in front of our room. And there was a fridge!!! :-))

Although the room was spacious, it looked a bit shabby, the loo was really a tiny place, but this accommodation was good enough for one night and the staff was very friendly.
