Great location in the middle of the woods. Friendly staff. Lovely and big terrace with great view. E-bike rental - made our day. Nice restaurant.

The room was made in the 90s and never touched again. The furniture is old and bulky, and there is no place to move. Tiles in the bathroom are crumbling, and the seams are either not existing or dirty. The way between our room in the attic and entrance/restaurant was too complicated and uncomfortable. It was way too expensive for what we got... Also: We were expecting a silent place mid in the national park with the sound of nature. But we arrived in Disney land with blown up jumping castle, slides and swings, and a lot of children screaming. The customer should be warned twice before booking. Last but not least: no matter if you order goulash or a grilled pheasant. It all tasted the same with too much spice...

We stay here 2 or 3 times a year. In the summer months, as well as the usual restaurant menu they have a BBQ on the terrace. Beds are always comfy with lovely bedding. Great breakfast.
