Speicher 7 Hotel

Great views, really nicely decorated interior, spacious and well furnished bathrooms, comfortable bed with choice of different pillows

I so wish I could give this hotel a purely great rating as I love the concept and location. Two factors unfortunately make that impossible: 1) Some of the staff: impolite, indignant, almost rude; definitely not well trained, and not helpful 2) Temperature in the room: We could not change the AC setting. Whenever we put it to cooler, it went back up to where it was before. When we asked the staff about it, they brushed us off, said they couldn't do anything, and that we should ask for a partial refund. When we followed up, the hotel didn't reply. As a result, with 36 degrees Celsius outside, we sweated pretty much for the whole time in our room, which simply is UNACCEPTABLE at a hotel with this rating and price level. Hence the overall low rating. I think both these items are easily fixable and I really hope the managers will do so. Maybe this review can be the incentive / reason.

Das Ambiente ist gut gelungen, nur abends war es sehr laut , mir tuen die Mitarbeiter leid, besonders die an der Bar

Leider gibt es nur 4 Parkplätze beim Hotel, weitere sind ein paar hundert Meter entfernt - liegt wohl an der Stadt, die nicht mehr genehmigt

Aussergewönliche Lage, sehr aufmerksames Personal, und spannendes Gebäude.

Zimmer zur Strasse etwas lärmig.
