During check-in, my wife and I were informed that breakfast would be available the next morning and that payment could simply be made then. Based on this information, we planned our morning accordingly. The next morning, my wife went to the breakfast area before the official breakfast closing time intending to pay and join breakfast. However, she was unexpectedly refused access because, according to the staff member, too many guests had already arrived and he was working alone without sufficient support. The issue for us was not the employee personally, but rather the poor organization and lack of preventive communication from the hotel. If breakfast availability could become limited due to staffing or operational issues, guests should be informed in advance instead of being turned away at the entrance. Unfortunately, because we suddenly had to search for breakfast elsewhere, our morning schedule was disrupted considerably. My wife suffers from migraines, and delayed meals can trigger severe migraine attacks. This situation unfortunately caused exactly that, which negatively affected the rest of our short trip and prevented us from fully enjoying our planned activities. What made this especially disappointing is that we had previously stayed at ibis hotels in other cities and had always had positive experiences before this incident. In fact, less than two months before this stay, we had stayed at ibis Bremen and had a very positive experience there, which makes this experience even more unfortunate and surprising.

De ontvangst was zeer goed. De locatie is super. Vlak bij het centrum en het station. Het ontbijt was ook goed. Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden over mijn verblijf.
