Een eenvoudig maar heel gastvrij familiehotel aan de Marktplatz in Blomberg.

A comfortable chair in the room is not there. The breakfast is very sober.

Location was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. There was a bar where you could have a drink and unwind.

I have certain health issues and the stairs were a problem for me. I think in a hotel with several floors a lift would be a good idea. There are no evening meals provided, but there is a very good restaurant just across the square.

The price was probably the only thing I liked. The bed was okay, and the rooms where spotless to be fair.

The reception and the employee where not particularly welcoming and certainly under par compared to any other hotel I've stayed in, in Germany for that price range. Clearly I was one of only two people there, but I was still given a room on the second floor, which was very small. The shower pressure was poor and the shower itself tiny. Again, I was likely one of the only people in the hotel, but there was no effort made to serve a decent breakfast, I was at least provided with a stone-cold egg and lukewarm juice. The "free parking" was only free between 18:00 - 08:00, so not free at all and I had to cut my breakfast short to replace my parking disk, and again an hour later in the middle of a virtual business meeting which really wasn't ideal.

Delicious and location close to all amenities.

Localisation is perfect in the centre of small old town. Perfect for a little walk after a whole day of work. Beautiful old town with very old buildings from 1600 :)
