"No room for 'technical reasons'"

My booking was confirmed many weeks in advance. I was travelling from the UK, but on the day of my arrival the hotel cancelled my booking for "technical reasons", leaving me stranded and no where to stay. They did not even offer to help find alternative hotel. When I complained on this point, the rude response was that it was my responsibility to ask fkor help ?!

Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Safely storing my bike was no problem. Delicious food in an atmospheric restaurant. Clean, comfortable room. All at a very reasonable price.
