Schönes großzügiges Zimmer, tolles historisches Gebäude in zentraler Altstadtlage. Kostenloses Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer erhalten. Sehr freundliches Personal.

The rooms are only cleaned when a shield is hung outside on the door handle. The idea, according to the management, is for a more sustainable solution to constantly washing towels. No fresh towels are extra toilet paper are added, nor is the bed made without the shield. The breakfast was very good, if you arrive early. The fresh fruit goes fast and is not replinished if you arrive after 10:00am. We arrived by car, and a reservation was difficult. Parking space is limited and rather expensive. One of the perks of being right in the middle of the old town includes being in walking distance to most sights. It is, however, really loud at night and sleeping with an open window was nearly impossible due to the street noise. The air conditioning in the room was just an air circulator without a compressor.

Zimmer sehr klein, Blick auf Parkplatz, extrem laut in der Nacht, da sich daneben eine Rock-Kneipe befindet.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, mitten im Geschehen in der Altstadt. Wir sind mit dem Fahrrad angereist und wurden zunächst etwas vom Restaurantpersonal gemustert. Keine Lademöglichkeit für Elektro-Bikes. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und die Inneneinrichtung (Foyer) ist an einigen Stellen nach unserem Geschmack etwas lieblos zusammengestellt - da haben wir schon deutlich liebevoller eingerichtete Boutique-Hotels gesehen.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis fanden wir nicht angemessen - aber das Preisniveau ist (im Vergleich zu den anderen Stationen auf der Fünf-Flüsse-Radtour: Nürnberg, Amberg, Berching) in Regensburg natürlich insgesamt höher, da die Stadt mit deutlich mehr Touristen „geflutet“ ist - insofern wohl in Ordnung.

The location is the best part about the hotel. The beds were fairly comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower.

I assumed that having a Michelin star restaurant attached, the hotel would be really nice. I should have looked more closely before booking. The worst part is that there's no air conditioning, which was dangerous on the hot days we were there. You can open the window (if you don't mind all the bugs coming in) and they provide a fan, but it wasn't sufficient. Due to the heat and the terrible pillows, we did not sleep well. Wifi worked great, but there are not enough outlets for modern travelers. I realize that in old buildings like this, A/C and outlets aren't a guaranteed commodity. But I didn't consider this before booking and just want to make sure people are informed even though we weren't. The room was also very small and poorly lit.

Lage sensationell - da kann man alles zu Fuß erledigen. Kein Frühstück gebucht.

Samstagabend toller Vorsommertag - Menschenmassen in der Innenstadt leider ging unser Zimmer zur Straße hin und wir hatten bis gegen 4 Uhr früh Lärm. Fenster zu - leider schlechte Luft im Zimmer. 25€ für den Stellplatz im Hof finde ich zu teuer.
