Hotel Spreeblick

Beautiful room with a view of the river - - and also of the parking lot, but no one is perfect -- excellent restaurant open all the time, terrific staff. Bring your own soap if you like a big bar and don't like shower gel.

We stayed for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago. We happened to mention to the host that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and to our great surprise, at breakfast next morning, she presented us with a heart shaped chocolate cake that she had made, with candles! This was consistent with her being warm and attentive to other guests. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre, the punt rides, restaurants and cafes, and the excellent local museum in the castle. The town is a great relaxation with punt rides, walks and bicycle tracks.

I have spent a weekend at Hotel Spreeblick with my boyfriend and it was such a great experience. I highly recommend indulging yourself with their excellent services. The hotel is well located in the middle of the lovely town Lübben. You have great options for day trips to Berlin or Dresden, but most promising are the boundless nature experiences. The premises got revamped very recently, so the SPA area and the rooms are all of top-notch quality. The best thing though is the food. One of the managers of the hotel is running the kitchen. He apparently learned in one of the best (and most expensive restaurants) in Berlin Fischers Fritz. Now the chef manages to serve amazing food with a Spreewald-focus. You should definitely try his Schnitzel or the Zander.
