Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Personal, das Frühstück und auch der Saunabereich waren überdurchschnittlich gut. Besonders empfehlen können wir das Essen im Restaurant. Wir kommen wieder!

Good location, nice rooms, nice garden and restaurant but see major issue below

Major issue with housekeeping. On arrival after a long drive we sat on the bed for half an hour to relax. We did notice a smell of disinfectant at the time but didn’t think much of it. When I got up I realized my jeans were quite damp, not wet just damp, which I thought odd. I checked and realized that the dampness was urine. I checked the sheets and obviously a previous guest had wet the bed and the housekeeping staff had just covered this up with a thin topper mattress and new sheet but this had seeped through when I lay down. Went downstairs to complain, receptionist apologised and we changed room. Excuse was housekeeping weren’t working today. I had to wash my clothes in the shower as no offer made to do this for me. No offer of compensatory drink, meal, breakfast just a few bottles of hotel beer and honey. Housekeeping knocked on door twice at 9.30 to come in and also opened door without our consent twice. I had to shout no loudly and lot the door after the fourth time. It was only 9.30. This was unacceptable for a four star hotel and we won’t be returning. Major issue with your housekeeping team and this should be addressed. A complimentary drink at least would have been nice.

Alles. Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war gut. Die ganze Anlage ist wunderschön & liebevoll gestaltet!

Sowohl der Spielplatz als auch das Spielzimmer könnten etwas umfangreicher sein - aber generell ist es schön, dass es dies überhaupt gibt!
