Beautiful quiet location

I arrived two hours later than originally planned, in the night. But I found the owners in the bar, and was welcomed warmly. Big parking place.

I could not close the terrace door from outside. It kept opening back. There was no hand grip from outside.

Location was quite in the middle of nowhere and the room was also a bit tucked away. Room was spaceous but some of the beds were really bad.

A very warm welcome, the bedroom was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was excellent and also spotlessly clean. The evening meals were very nice and well cooked in fact the steak was the best we had eaten in many years and the breakfast was adequate for our needs.

Until I had paid the bilI then later checked it on the last night I could not have been happier, however, due to my medication I cannot drink alcohol although my husband enjoyed some. I asked for a glass of tap water it came in a lovely glass but not too much in with a wedge of lemon but there was also a small jug with some more in but certainly by no means full. I appreciate these things need to be washed but to charge 9€ for the 2 nights for an amount of water that the bill indicated and was certainly not provided is a little harsh Also we both had steaks which were lovely but the menu said 26 and a bit €, Now in my mind that should have been about 53€ but we were charged 62€. I just paid and did not check the bill until later. By then it was too late as the owner we would not see again. The check out time is by 11am however at 8.15 there was a knock on the door not sure what the lady who came to the door said but we assume it was tho check we were up. Yes we were and dressed and just just about to go for breakfast. At 9.15 while my husband was out packing the car there was a knock on the door again and it was opened but I could not get to the door as it takes a while in my wheelchair. My husband returned a very few minutes later but I felt we were being rushed out.

Near to the motorway so very suitable for an overnight stop on a long journey. Breakfast was sufficient but not lavish. We ate our evening meal at the restaurant which was disappointing, Overall the welcome we were given was good and the hotel provided all we needed for a short stay.

The restaurant menus was very limited and the food appeared to have been shop bought schnitzel and not freshly prepared.
