Hotel Wirtshaus Garbe

The location was good for me, close to where I was lecturing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite small but remarkably well laid out and comfortable, This was fine for a single traveler, but might be a little crowded for two! An excellent restaurant downstairs.

Parking is across the street in a public lot which is inexpensive but rather tricky to get out of, especially early in the morning! Both the room and the restaurant also seemed a little expensive for what you were actually getting. I suspect this is due to the area- Stuttgart is a very up and coming place, and a lot of tech companies nearby.

Beautiful rooms and beautiful eating areas, both inside and out. We used to live in this part of Stuttgart so the location was ideal for us.

Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and restaurant.

Very convenient location near UBahn and bus stops. Very helpful staff member who enabled us to check in early by swapping our room.

The bathroom with glass door which didn't shut tightly, and toilet immediately inside, didn't feel very private. Privacy is important even for members of a couple. The blinds still let some light in.
