Der Grüne Baum

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, das Einchecken war komplikationslos. Die Zimmer sowie das Bad waren geräumig und sauber. Trotz Verkehrslärm haben wir gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten war sehr gut und ausreichend, der Preis ist nicht zu toppen (6€ ) und jeden früh frisch zubereitet Rührei. An der Rezeption bekam man Tipps für Ausflüge und die beste Fahrstrecke. Und ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk. Das Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen, der Parkplatz am Hotel kostenlos.

Schade, dass das dazugehörige Restaurant geschlossen hatte, so kamen wir leider nicht in den Genuss, den Biergarten im Innenhof zu nutzen. Um abends noch gemütlich zusammen zu sitzen, steht nur ein vietnamesische Gaststätte gegenüber vom Hotel zu Verfügung. Oder man fährt nach Sinsheim ins Zentrum. Das manche Gäste denken, sie sind allein im Hotel und die Türen knallen lassen, daran muss man sich gewöhnen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Check in problemlos. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Location good for museum, room generous size, comfy beds, staff helpful, restaurant excellent. Breakfast good selection.

Room hot - a fan would have helped - room 23 above restaurant which was very noisy, also air conditioning compressors close to window and very noisy for many hours - also loud traffic noise to be heard. Was difficult to sleep.

Strange experience with the breakfast: first they asked what we would like to have. we asked for 3 scrambled eggs per person, which she understood. but they made only 1 per person, which was ridiculously small and we had to ask again. then she brought 2 per person which was enough for us, and she said that if we want to have more it costs extra, but we did not order more. But then at the checkout they still charged us extra 10 Euro for the extra eggs, and said that only 1 is included in the price of the breakfast (which is 6 Euro extra) It is just strange. They should have been clear about it in the beginning. Bad communication. Well, you have lost some customers, because next time we will go somewhere else. Other: the location is not so good, next to a road, my room was on the street side, a bit noisy at night

Kindness of the host. It was possible to get the room earlier. The parking is free and very easy to access. The restaurant of the hôtel is very good although a big pricy

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. There was a lovely oldworld ambience to the gruene baum

Excellent family run hotel with friendly helpful staff. Great food in the little restaurant and whole place spotlessly clean.
