Hotel zur Altstadt

Too many steps to our room on the third floor. I understand the reason for no elevator---the reason is my age and the difficulty in climbing stairs. Loved the facilities and the great restaurant. David Stevens

Located very centrally.

Strange with a hotel with no reception/front desk and therefor nobody to answer questions about our stay or welcome us. The staff spoke very limited English. Note that the hotel only serves breakfast during the weekends, which would have been nice to know in advance as it seemed it was available during all of our stay.

Location was ideal - close to citycenter with restaurants, coffee-houses and shops. The room was on 1. floor and was clean with complimentary coffeemachine and water. We had a lovely stay for one night.

The entrance was a bit crowded with bikes. I suppose it was other guests, but I can't be sure.

Central location, relatively clean.

Was too loud at night, not good insulation, stuff in the bathroom was actually broken such as the shower cabin's sliding doors. The staff was not rude at all, but didn't seem to make any effort - e.g. they had an iron that I would've liked to use, but instead of bringing it to my room they asked me to go to their basement laundry to iron my clothes.
