EXCELLENT Location. Very close to Ramstein Air Base and there is plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was AMAZING. The room was very spacious and clean.

The beds were not very comfortable. We were in a suite and I slept on the double bed and my daughter on the pull out sofa. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well. We loved the hotel but the bed was not great. :(

Hemming at the front desk was so helpful advising us on the best train to Amsterdam. He was also our waiter. His English was excellent. Clean, quiet room too!

"Hotel Merkur, don't hesitate to visit"

For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of occasionally staying at the Merkur. Some short visits, some 30+ day visits. The staff is like a family and makes you feel like you belong there. They are all courteous and helpful. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. As for the food, I've tried most of it and it is 5 star quality. Hilton and Marriotts cannot compete with the Merkur!
