This hotel is located in a small quiet village at a meadw, not far from Bayreuth and only a few kilometers from the Autobahn. It is beuatifully and tastefully decorated throughout. The welcome was very nice and because I had to leave early they did everything to accomodate me. This is were staff cares about their guests.

Pretty room and breakfast room Lovely breakfast

We were informed the day before checkout that we needed to pay cash! Yikes! Who has $910 euros cash?? We had to go to several atms in Bayreuth to get the money.

breakfast was good value for money and the scenery was idyllic. Parking on site and a quiet surrounding.

the staff / owners were making it hard to enjoy the stay. We were not allowed to sit outside of the small rooms without paying for drinks, no refrigerators, no air conditioning, no blackout curtains, no access to the entire property once they 'locked up' which was very early and accusations that our devices (which were just regular phone chargers) caused the power outage.

Large suite with sitting room. Antique furniture, comfy sofas, beautiful old building and garden. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful!
