Das Personal ist sehr nett, bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut! Die Zimmer sauber. Die Lage ist mega! Nur 2 Minuten zum Strand und genauso weit zu den Läden.

Die Zimmer könnten mal renoviert werden. Im Bad sind Fugen nicht in Ordnung und der Teppich hat schlimme Flecken. Beim Frühstück wäre eine Kaffeemaschine toll, damit man nicht teils 10 bis 15 Minuten auf jemanden warten muss, der Kaffee oder Tee bringt. In den Zimmern wäre ein Besen, Kehrwisch und Schaufel und ein Lappen toll, damit man am Abend auch mal selbst kurz den Sand grob zusammen kehren und den Tisch abwischen kann.

Great breakfast already from 6:45! That's why it's one of my favorite hotels on borkum. Heating in the bathroom so you can dry stuff. Minibar where you can keep little snacks such as before bed yogurt.

A socket splitter for the socket next to bed would have been helpful, without it you can either charge your phone or have a lamp but not both.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly.

It was disappointing that the hotel has no showers. My wife is handicepped and had big trouble to take a shower.

Great location, very close to city, beach and railway station. Good WiFi, friendly staff, room was ready at about 1pm, breakfast also good, cooperation with bicycle rental at the station

First of all: dear hotel management: please change the pictures, your hotel is way nicer than how it looks like on the booking site. This hotel has perfect value. We'll definitely return.

After a hard trip in the North sea, or just visiting the Kachelot on Borkum island you are offered a welcome second to none. It is central, it is quiet, clean and secure with service and food from Klause the manager and his team of hard working and friendly staff. The rooms are a good size on suit, and kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. The selection of food offered on the menu will suit any pallet and is cooked to a high standard with a breakfast display that gets the mouth watering when seen. After a sauna, if you just want to relax a lot of the rooms have a balcony where you can sit and soak up the sun. Don't just take my word for it, try it, you will not be disappointed.
