Aparthotel DeLuxe

Really good quality "apartment hotel" in pretty town. Most guests are doubtless here for business purposes but I have a strange brother who loves lenses and on this latest trip to Germany we were here to visit the really excellent Carl Zeiss Museum. Our accommodation was top notch. Friendly welcome, free on site parking, really modern building, lift, clean and well presented, magnificently spacious and well appointed apartment- lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, with balcony. Excellent breakfast included. Would stay again like a shot. Thoroughly recommended.

I stayed one night in a standard single room. It was HUGE! I used to travel a lot for business, so I have stayed in many hotels across Germany. This one surprised me for being in such a small town. The shower was massive with quick, hot water. The room was gigantic, with a kettle for water and a coffee machine. The minibar was filled with energy drinks. There was a free bottle of water in the room as well. The automatic sensor in the bathroom was a bit annoying, because I like to turn the light off when I am done. The reception isn't manned 24-7, so to ask a question at night, you need to make a phone call. The breakfast buffet was pretty impressive. I've had less for way more money. I really liked that there was an iron and ironing board easily available downstairs near the laundry. I'd stay here again.

Beautiful new small hotel, less than a five minute walk to Zeiss. Big, comfortable room with a good size work desk and sofa, and complimentary in-room coffee, tea, and mineral water. Items in the mini-bar were reasonably priced. Everything is brand new and very clean. The free Wi-Fi worked well. Decent self-service breakfast included. Only complaint is with the bathroom-- there is no counter space on which to keep toiletries. Also, the bathroom light turns on automatically with a motion sensor, but there is no way to turn it off, which is annoying at night (it does turn itself off after about 20 minutes). Shower is nice and spacious. I'll definitely stay there again.

Huge comfortable rooms equipped with large TV, kettle, mw-oven, coffee-machine (coffee capsules, miberal water and teabags for free). Fast WiFi (free). Clean, comfortable, courteous staff. Free car parking. Hotel is located close to Carl Zeiss factory and about 5 min walk from train station.

This new property is a real find. The brand new Aparthotel DeLuxe is in the heart of Oberkochen just next to the headquarters of Carl Zeiss AG. The properties owners have designed a space that is ideal for both business visitors and tourists to this overlooked part of Germany. The rooms are very large and beautifully equipped. None of your Ikea here, Some serious thought and money has gone into these rooms and they are comfortable and functional. My room had a large lounging area with couch desk, bar with good sized refrigerator microwave and coffee and tea making facilities-with a really great tea selection. The adjacent bedroom had a good sized comfortable double bed and each side had a reading light. The large flat screen TV is mounted on a rotating stand which can face either the lounging area or the bedroom, very clever and again very functional. The free WiFi is very fast and always accessible The bathroom is huge, I've stayed in smaller bedrooms in Europe, with a good selection of amenities, a large walk in shower and nice soft towels, and this was just the standard double room; what must the suites be like! In these times of corporate clone hotels the Aparthotel Deluxe is very special and deserves a lot of credit for taking the extra care to make their customers comfortable and welcome.I look forward to my next visit.
