Hotel Gran Colombia by HHG

Thank you so much for a great stay! The staff took care of me and my my young daughter like we were family! They fed us and helped us with our luggage. Our room small, but clean and comfortable - and TV has many channels - even some in English. Breakfast was great. We also ate dinner there - and it was fantastic. We stayed for one night - and we would definitely stay again. It is the friendly staff who make this place special.

Clean, roomservice and good location.

The room was to bright at night and extremley loud. You can hear everything going on in the house and during the first night it was super noisy downstairs at the kitchen/Rezeption. Breakfast very poor. Had way better breakfasts for less money.

They fully don’t respect the reservation you make, and just give your room to other people at the hotel who all of a sudden decided to extend their stay. And it doesn’t matter that you booked a room in advance and you are about to come in few hours, they just cancel your reservation (or trying to give you the room and conditions worse for the same price and without windows). So if you make a reservation here, you can’t be 100% sure you are going to have a room you booked or to have the accommodation in general in Cuenca when you arrive. So I recommend to choose another place from the beginning and save your nerves and positive experience in this lovely city

My king room was huge and spotless. All the staff were super nice.

The only downside of my experience was the wifi was jot reaching very well in my room.

Good service overall, good location. Friendly staff.

Staff not speaking English, but that is typical in Ecuador. Promised free parking, but in fact we had to pay at a private lot, even though cost is low.
