Hotel Palacio Dos Olivos

De leuke rustieke kamer en het prachtige uitzicht. De rust en stilte doet genieten. De gezellige sfeer van het kerkje met 10 huizen een hotel en 80 koeien.

Dat het hotel onbemand was. Inkom met code, sleutel lag klaar. Probleemloos verlopen, maar zo onpersoonlijk. We waren helemaal alleen in het ganse hotel. Geen kans op lekkere koffie of een frisdrank om van te genieten na een leuke wandeling.

The Palacio is an elegant country hotel in a remote village, beautifully appointed, with very comfortable common spaces and ample parking. Unfortunately, our room did not reflect its advertised features and the management response was dismal, leading to the low rating of an otherwise excellent facility. Floors 1 and 2 are elevator accessible, but the attic level 3rd floor requires one flight of stairs. The booking process allowed us to choose double or twin beds, but didn't guarantee our choice. We asked for a double bed but got twins. The room was reasonably affordable, but not cheap, 65€ for 2, Saturday, late April.

Our 3rd floor room (#32) was unsatisfactory. Advertised with "mountain view", the attic room had only two skylights which, if you stood under each, afforded only a view of the sky. You'd have to be 2.5 meters tall to see a mountain. Far more disturbing was the lack of wifi connectivity in the room. One of our phones couldn't connect due to insufficient signal, the other (and my laptop) didn't even see the network. A prompt message explaining the problem was ignored. When I went down to the front door and used the intercom to speak to the manager, he said he was not checking booking.com messages but would read mine immediately. He never responded. No internet, no view, no response, no apology, no refund. Highly unsatisfactory. Had these problems not existed, we would have stayed additional nights.

Tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en este hotel en temporada baja y fue una experiencia increíble: disfrutar de sus espectaculares salones, las vistas, el trato del personal, los paseos por el entorno.

Su ubicación en la naturaleza obliga a utilizar el coche para cenar, ya que en el pueblo no hay restaurantes. Pero hay opciones cerca, así que no es dramático

rien pour déjeuné dans la chambre aucun service dans l'hôtel aucun personnel non plus, séjour tout seul dans cette grande bâtisse plutôt bizarre !!

Le batiment ancien palais magnifique et meublé avec beaucoup de gout. Chambre tres spacieuse Vue magnifique dans un environnement tres calme. Indispensable d avoir un véhicule.

Le déjeuner est à améliorer. Pas de choix ni produit frais.
