Extremely well appointed and very friendly staff.

The location is close to bars and restaurants. Parking is easy. Super clean and comfy bed. Aircond AND ceiling fans? This is too good. Wifi is good.

No reception area to check in. Having to call someone when we arrived. It’s very very minor. Everything is great !

The fact that the hotel was empty. The village and the area is lovely. The cafe called La Abadia scores five stars in my book.

That the owner was so rude to us when we arrived. She had a family member she needed to get to the bus station and she spared nothing in letting us know what an inconvenience we were. The hotel smelt of sewage. I suspect when the building is closed the pipes dry out and the air from the sewer seeps into the rooms? The coffee machine in the lounge didn't work - there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. There was no separate kettle in the lounge. This really was a 'bed and that's it' sort of place. The only thing saving it is the location.

The location was very good for exploring Briones and wineries in the area

The room was on the ground level which was very noisy. Had only one window that could open. There was no proper hanging cupboard. The pillows were terrible. Although it is a hotel, there is no reception

Nice location with street parking by the property. Close to the town square (up a steep hill). Nice host who came immediately to let me in to the room.

Not soundproof. Snoring from the room upstairs. Teenagers banging on the window outside. No on-site reception.
