Hotel Rural Auñamendi

Location in the centre of village. Large room, super king size bed and very comfortable. Brilliant power shower. Great breakfast with hot and cold food. Evening meal good vale for money. Nice bar and outdoor terrace.

At first,when we were given a room in the attic, 3rd floor, with lift only to the 2nd floor and we aren’t spring chickens, we were disappointed!😂 Also we only had a skylight window. However, it was a lovely, modern room so we were quite happy in the end. Note to ourselves, request low floor where possible.

Wow, what a great hotel in a beautiful old town! The hotel is in an old building but our room was modern and comfortable. It's easy to get to the main sites or hike from town. We enjoyed the short hike and loop to the Muskilda church above town. We ate 2 dinners and breakfasst there. All our food was good and reasonable, though occasionally a bit heavy on the salt. We'd stay there again.

As in our 70s and 80s the last flight of stairs with suitcases were a bit difficult and had to stand on the bed to open the window.

Everything, the location, very ample and comfortable room, extremely helpful staff, food served at the bar/restaurant was fantastic, very highly recommended.
