Jiuzhai Journey Hotel

clean, comfortable, absolutely great helpful front desk staff. very near entrance to the park. Walking distance. warm room (November). Loads of restaurants around the corner along the river.good breakfast

The staff was very kind and helpful. Great location, 20 min. walking from Jiuzhaigou Park.

Our room was in the back building, which you enter via outside. There was no elevator and we were on the third floor, which wasn't very convenient. The room was okay, but everywhere was single glass making it quite cold, and noisy since you can clearly hear the busy road in front of the hotel with cars and busses starting to honk at 7AM. Air-conditioning/heating was unfortunately not functioning. The breakfast was very limited and not so great.

Good value hotel that’s located in perfect walking distance from bus station and park entrance.

The breakfast was basic - fried noodles with a selection of veggies, steamed buns & hard boiled eggs. The shower was flooding the bathroom, but then drained surprisingly well

The staff is very accomedating. The booking.com listing has an error, the suite actually does not have a sofabed, so 5 adults will not be able to stay in one suite. Speak to the hotel and they arrange for an adjacent room for free! The bed is confortable and within 1 KM to JiuZhaiGou park. Breakfast is plenty of choice and tasty. Resturant in hotel price is good and similiar to the one outside but feels cleaner and safer. Overall a great experience and highly recommened.

The hotel is going thru a renovation. The suite we stay in (5th floor) actually have 2 bedroom lamp not installed yet. Also the sofa is old while everything else seems newly renovated.

Location is good, near to jiuzhaigou . Cozy stay.

Too simple for breakfast.

Location-wise, this might be one of the best hotels for experiencing Jiuzhaigou. It's within walking distance to the park entrance (and you will want to walk, as car traffic in this area gets insane); right next door you have a number of decent restaurant options and a few souvenir shops. The breakfast buffet was great too — the food variety and quality was significantly better compared to an average hotel breakfast in China.

The hotel address on our booking confirmation was INCORRECT. Do not trust the booking confirmation email, you will get lost. Enter the Chinese name of the hotel (九寨沟九寨之旅大酒店) into a local map app (we suggest 高德 / Gaode aka Amap) to look up the right address and go there instead. The hotel staff don't speak great English, so it's best to use Chinese to communicate. The interior is dated and worn; expect peeling wallpaper and old, basic furniture in rooms. Our bedding was clean and comfortable, though slightly torn and clearly fraying.

Nice comfortabele room. Fully equipped. Friendly staff. Within walking distance of the Jiuzhai National Park.
