Hostal Brin

Perfect overnight stop, just off the autovia in a quiet location. Safe parking behind the hostal and cheap petrol station close by. Very friendly staff. The restaurant doesn't seem to be open to the general public but Victoria cooked us an excellent menu del dia for a very good price.

Don't be put off by the outside of the building. It looks very run down but inside was spotless. The hostal is on the edge of an industrial estate, so it is not an attractive location, but we just wanted food and a bed. No breakfast available.

Reception great! Beds good. It is good if you want to do nothing else but sleep. Parking great.

Room has the looks of a jail. No breakfast, nothing to do. Surrounded by sadness. Shower can't hang, you have to hold it.

The hostal needs to urgentry upgrade its wifi service - it was not working and the staff confirmed that the system only worked occassionally The hostal has been divided into two parts - one part has been closed for sometime and the exterior and garden needs attention - the accomodation is accessed via a seperate gated fenced area which was not clearly marked

Just simple big clean and perfect for the price rooms. It was perfect and met our needs of a stopgap place

The adjoining restaurant wasn¡t open for breakfast and there was not much else around to choose from. The Tv was too small

The warmth and hospitality of victoria and poala from the coffee shop was great, I have stayed in far more exspensive places, with far less hospitality, as I have just bought a house there locally, I will definately be back, while I work on the house.

Nothing to dislike

Great price, convenient location, great staff, loads of space and clean

Getting inside was a bit stressful as the lights were out and door and gate locked. I drove around looking for another entrance. When I phoned the really lovely lady only spoke Spanish, which sadly I don’t speak. We managed to work out that I had arrived and this issue was immediately resolved.

Excellent value for money, very friendly staff. My room was large, clean and comfortable. Very hearty meals at a great price on offer.

It's a highway hotel, so obviously it's location is not exactly scenic.
