This is a small, family-run hotel in rural Spain so the reception/entrance is not open all the time but contact 'phone numbers were left on the entrance door and somebody popped around to book us in just 5 minutes after we phoned to say we'd arrived. The hotel is just off the main road behind the church and the restaurant/bar in the village where we were welcomed most warmly and where we enjoyed traditional Spanish food, hearty, filling and very tasty - the chorizo cooked in wine was delicious with a pile of chips to accompany it (but not for the faint-hearted!) The room was absolutely fine and clean with a good shower and there was ample street parking just outside or by the church. The bed was very comfy and the village quiet with a little shop around the corner that sold just about everything. There was a real sense of community in the village and I would happily stay again.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant/bar by the church from 5 a.m. (which suited our plans fine) but is traditionally Spanish, so simple - bread rolls, jam and strong coffee. Not a problem but maybe something to be aware of.
