Most fantastic stay in Oban for 2 days. We could have stayed here for a week or even longer as this unit was absolutely worth every pound we paid. We will definitely recommend this establishment as one of the finest we stayed in on our month long Scotland trip. Well done to the owners and staff. Excellent location near all attractions. Very clean and comfortable.

No 26 by the sea lived up to all the expectations! The rooms and property were well designed and appointed. Breakfast was great. And the hospitality was top tier! Would highly recommend and would stay here again

We spent a two night stay in Woodland Cottage prior to catching a very early Calmac ferry for our island holiday. We received a warm, professional welcome and excellent service during our brief interactions with staff. The bedroom and bathroom were small (we felt rather hemmed in) but clean and well appointed, and the living area sufficient for our needs on this occasion. We consider that the kitchen would be under equipped for a longer self-catering stay. It was lovely to have the quiet courtyard garden at our disposal as an alternative to the sun terrace at the sea front. However, the sea terrace gives interesting views of the marine traffic and is a lovely place to sit in the sun with a cool drink after long distance travel. We partook of the hotel breakfast on the first morning and it was the best hotel breakfast we have ever experienced; beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and almost all items offered gluten free - a rare find indeed!

We stayed in the apartment with a garden view for one night and it was fabulous. We can't recommend it enough. It was very quiet and pleasant. The attention to detail and the design of the apartment was really nice. It is not a large apartment but it is fine for a few nights stay. The apartment has been well maintained and the design is well thought through. Our little dog enjoyed wandering in and out to the patio area and this enclosed area which was very secure. The woodland walk is also a must which is at the back of the property with easy access to the castle. The following morning of our stay we paid for the breakfast at the hotel and this was also really nice. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and all in all it was a fab stay. The town of Oban is about a 10 minutes stroll and we went to a lovely pub for an evening meal which was dog friendly called The Lorne. This is also well worth a visit but you must book in advance as Oban can be very busy.
