Mooi hotel, het lijkt wel een kasteel 🏰 veilige parkeerplaats op eigen terrein!

i popped in for a few pints as I was staying locally. I did not drive but read a few reviews about the parking here so had a look. loads of signs outside advising customers to leave car reg. Maybe people got caught out? onto the no cash pint some people are talking about, that’s a covid throw back and also means no banking charges, yes the card company charge for each transaction but no cash is a good thing. STAFF - can’t fault them all, from the supervisor on his night off at the bar who made sure I was served before him to the gents scouting the tables they were all friendly and professional. the young lady served me the second beer and was super friendly. my beer was pricey, not London prices but definelty a tourist area price which I accept as the staff have to be paid, remember folks if you don’t want to see prices rise stop paying staff a very fair wage- we can’t have it both ways. Couple that with the cost of goods it’s fair to see prices like this. The bar and dining area were spotless, so cosy and inviting too. Lots of places to sit, comfy chairs and open plan in areas so no dingy corners. I will be back.

One glass of wine and a pint of Belhaven…£18.90. Be warned. No wonder the place was dead!

Located centrally in Aviemore with onsite parking.

Room was quite small. It was a squeeze to get around the bed past the desk and closet.

Ein Haus mit Geschichte: etwas viel Patina, aber durchaus komfortabel. Super Lage bei Bus und Bahnhof. Essen & Frühstück sehr gut.
