Please note that all of our bedrooms are on the first and second floor and the property does not have a elevator. We do not accept Group Bookings. Pets are accepted on the first floor bedrooms but not permitted in the restaurant or bar. There is a wheelchair elevator at the front door which provides access to the restaurant and bar areas. Reservations of 3 or more rooms are considered a group and as such are subject to differing booking terms, with a 10% non refundable deposit.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Huge comfortable beds, great location- bus station is right out front. Breakfast was excellent.

There was loud live music one of the nights (we were on the first floor).

Breakfast was ample, a splendid buffet spread and excellent cooked dishes; dinner was equally good, and the evening bagpipes concert at the front steps was an unexpected delight. We had a problem with our bedroom heater, and a staff member carried a portable heater up two floors of steps to give us heat until the problem could be corrected--that's going the extra mile. It would be good to know in advance that the hotel is on a cashless system, so that one could come prepared with small bills for tipping, if so desired.

"Stay well clear, this place has gone downhill fast!"

Hero to zero in a matter of weeks. 5 star bar suppers have been replaced with bland, generic overpriced food. And as an added extra we got dumped with a £100 parking fine for the pleasure of going out for dinner there. There was no tablet provided to input the car reg, no-one made us aware of the need to do so and hotel isnt engaging now when we asked for their help to resolve. Avoid!
