"Delightful, relaxing short break - I wished I’d stayed longer"

Beautiful old building, very well updated to modern standards of comfort without losing character - lots of quirky, thoughtful touches. Friendly, helpful welcoming staff - good food and wine, great coffee in the morning

Distance from Newton Abbot station if you’re travelling by train - booking a taxi in advance is a good idea when you leave (staff v helpful with this as well)
