"Short and sweet!"

Location very handy and quiet.

I p 2 flights of stairs. But lovely lady carried our suitcase up which was much appreciated.

"Lovely classic quality B&B."

It was clean, airy and beautifully decorated. Perfect location for a 5 minute walk to seafront. Similar distance into town too and the train station. Friendly staff and good breakfasts.

The only problem was limited parking - that’s likely to be an issue so close to seafront. We took our own fan for the room and we’re glad we did.

"Overall a good break"

It’s near to the town and seafront and has a relaxed feel about, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Can be a little noisy being on well used road but all in all didn’t affect sleep too much.

"A B&B run by friendly efficient staff with many antiques but a "bit long in the tooth"."

Breakfast had good variety of fruit, juices and toppings. Hot breakfast was good.

Not much variety in cereals. Porridge would have been a nice option. Pancakes/ waffles would have made a nice change in place of other hot food such as hash browns, mushrooms, tomato, etc.. Could also have used a bit of cheese. Instant coffee was a problem, as we are perked coffee drinkers.

Very clean ,good size comfortable room. Other public rooms very clean & fresh,well decorated throughout. All staff were pleasant well organised,nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast choices & cooked perfectly. The general ambience was calm & relaxed which suited us well.

It would be hard to fault this lovely hotel & being a short stroll to the seafront was a bonus.
