The Staff Of Life

The staff were great and put themselves out to help us especially when family arrived to join us for a meal at short notice. Early check in was really helpful too and the village of Ticknall is very pretty and worth a stroll around + National Trust property just up the road.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and huge portions.

Cosy bedroom with ensuite, all very clean and comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out. Very quiet location. Very welcoming and smiley staff. Tasty and well presented breakfast. Plenty on parking available.

Would have liked a slightly larger television screen in bedroom.

From the decor, atmosphere, cleanliness, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff was in all brilliant and added up to make my sy stay a memorable one and I am sure to return to the hotel again.

Great hosts

Very Friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable and clean room. Had an evening meal which was great. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning Would certainly stay here again

Facilities in the bedroom were basic
