Royal Oak Hotel, Garstang

Great welcome. Good sized room with comfortable bed. Nice outdoor seating areas front and back. Good bar service. Ample free parking which was really useful.

The shower had a mind of its own ranging from very hot through to cold with nowhere in-between.

Convenient location, friendly staff and good choices available for dinner and breakfast.

We booked the “small double” which was certainly an accurate description of the room and the bed, but it was also above the bar and quite noisy until late.

The evening meal was chewy and I don't like tinned carrots. We were in room 8 and there was a smell from the drains

Great location in the centre of Garstang, so near shops & bars. Free parking. If you are looking for a nice pub with rooms, the Royal Oak is good value for money. Tasty pub grub served too. We've stayed here before & would stay again.

Our room was on the small side. We aren't large people, so we managed, but if you are tall and well built I would avoid Room 3. On our previous stay our room was larger.

The room was excellent and really good value for money. The property was charming and clean. The staff couldnt do enough for us and were so freindly and kind. Overall it was amazing.

Wanted to stay longer but had to go home
