Very friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable bed and room. Very helpful with the safe storage of my pedal bike.

No meals available, but plenty of cafes nearby, and you’re welcome to eat takeaways etc in the friendly bar.

Exceptionally good comfortable and clean room for a pub location. Very affordable good quality restaurant with large portions. All staff very helpful and friendly making it an overall very pleasant stay.

Some noise from the mascerator toilet/water system. The property does not do breakfast however the Little Bean cafe opposite more than compensates.

Very nice stay but just a couple of comments. 1. Would like to have had Breakfast included and this gave a “down” on the price. 2. Obviously a lot of time and money has been spent on the accommodation which was good apart from having a bath. These days baths are not really required so that was a bit of a spoiler for us and a “no-no”. Otherwise a friendly atmosphere all round. Thanks a lot Paul and staff.

The room was fine. It was just one of the hottest days of the year and we needed the windows open and a fan on!

We had absolutely no idea that we couldn't upgrade to B&B when we got there as they didn't serve breakfasts at all. If we had wanted breakfast we would have had to go to a different cafe. They don't have their own parking and we also had trouble figuring out how to pay the private car park machine for overnight parking, so while we paid for the two nights, we are hoping they don't try to charge us £100. Don't get them confused with the King's Arms! Easily done!
