It's a really special place. From the moment we walked in it was clear that there was a carefully considered and cultivated atmosphere - the staff were warm and friendly and the ambience was beautifully curated. The food (dinner and breakfast) was outstanding and sophisticated without losing connection to the location or being overly experimental. Just really thoughtful and tasty food. The staff were also really friendly, we ended up chatting with the owner at the bar after our meal and enjoyed being amongst the locals in the pub too! The rooms are really comfortable and well stocked. It came with all the facilities you need for a comfortable and generous stay, and it was clean. Homemade shortbread was a welcome touch too!

This Hotel meets all the criteria we like when booking a short visit. It has a cosy bar with a restaurant serving lovely food.

What a place! Scenery stunning, food exceptional, room perfect. Will highly recommend this to friends and family. Loved the wee bar full of locals!
